As Senior Software Engineer at Brightcove, I worked on the Native Player SDK for Android — the video stack streaming 50,000 minutes every minute for enterprise customers. Migrated a decade-old Java codebase to ExoPlayer, hardened monetization, and shipped across phone, Android TV, and Fire TV.

Senior Android Developer (via GoatBytes.IO) on Invoy’s mobile app — companion to a breath-acetone device that measures fat burn faster than a scale. Connected the next-gen hardware over Bluetooth, visualized daily progress, and surfaced data to the analyst chat that coaches each member through their program.

Android Developer (via GoatBytes.IO) on Float — a consumer fintech app for couples, families, and trusted contacts to monitor credit together. Built credit-data integration, three-tier privacy-controlled sharing (emoji · range · full score), and a credit-card and loan marketplace, with Google Tink and AndroidKeyStore protecting sensitive data at rest.

iHeartRadio TV

Lead developer on the iHeartRadio Android TV and Amazon Fire TV rebuild — a remote-first, 10-foot interface for live radio, custom stations, and podcasts across the largest U.S. audio platform. Kotlin codebase with Leanback-driven TV UX, ExoPlayer streaming, TDD, and pair programming.

Honda Dream Drive

Lead Engineer on Honda Dream Drive — the connected-vehicle prototype demonstrated in the 2019 Honda Passport at CES 2019. Contributed to the Android Auto driver experience and the companion mobile app: Kotlin, Dialogflow voice intents, Google Maps and Yelp integration, and Braintree-backed in-vehicle commerce flows across a partner ecosystem of fuel, food, parking, ticketing, audio, and rewards.

Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer on the NBA All-Star Google Assistant Action — voice-enabled fan voting for NBA All-Star 2019, presented by Google. Translated a structured All-Star ballot into a conversational experience with Dialogflow, TypeScript fulfillment, and AWS DynamoDB-backed event data — running across phones, smart speakers, Smart Displays, tablets, and laptops.

Dashero

Jun 2018 – Apr 2019Deep dive →

Co-Founder and Director of Engineering on Dashero — an AI-driven in-vehicle commerce platform for voice ordering and predictive curbside pickup. Won the 2018 Code AutoMobility LA grand prize, then partnered with Ford Mobility and TribalScale Venture Studios to launch live in Ford’s main booth at CES 2019, integrated with Autonomic’s Transportation Mobility Cloud.
